I had lotsa fun over the end of 2008 especially Christmas!
Had a pre-celebration with my colleagues and my sec friends on the 20th, eating and laughing non-stop...
It was Christmas, so what we had to do, we all know it.. It's gift exchanging!
So in branch, almost everyone's request is voucher as it's the best so you can buy what you want.
True enough, whom i chosen was requesting for voucher, infact i myself did too!
Everyone asking each other whom they gotten and my colleague Lili said she got me and she'll buy me a vibrator instead of giving me a voucher. LOL I didn't believe her of course, where got so zhun one chose me.
As for my sec friends, I got melo. a) truck cap b) body pillow. I chose B because i actually don't know what's a truck cap, I went online and google for it........
20th itself,
done all the necessary closing and duties after work, and we were all starving as we had our sumptous buffet set up downstairs! Some of us went down first waiting, and I caught Lili going into the Cisco rm and i tailed her but she said "oi jac, don't la.. i wanna do something and don't come in..." which i did, but couldn't help myself peeping because i can see her still at a certain eye level.... and i told her.. "nvm I still can see you!!!!!!!!!!! there's a hole hereee..." and she started screamin her head off..
Not long later she came out holding this eeyore storage box and told me not to kay-po.. Truely, she gotten me for the gift exchange and now I believe. But I remembered I requested for voucher and it became "THIS"? Whenever she walks away from my vision, she'll be getting my other colleagues to supervise me to make sure I don't go anywhere near the eeyore box. -.-
So so so, everyone came down, we had our lunch and had some games.
Our dearest organisers had treasure hunt for us.. 4 groups, different location, aim? to look for an envelope with clues inside. Ours? The smallest room, that same cisco room again! Everyone was frantically searching for that envelope and we were the first to find! So we found photos inside of the fairy tale characters but it's not completed! So we had to look for the other group with our other halfs in it! And the 2nd group who found the envelope had ours! Bloody heng! But luckily we smart, we had already scotch-taped ours onto the cardboard so we just sticked the rest on, but the 2nd group didn't and they said they fixed the puzzle. So Lili and I went over to them and blew their puzzle and my group won... :X
then we had dog & bone. we were all given names instead of numbers and I was the baboon, so is zul aka nek nek.. When BM called baboon we two chiong towards the bone and neknek face hit my knee when I bent down and she fell backwards and even roll with her specs not in position on her face.. Everyone burst out laughing lah... Classic move.. Lili likewise, when it was her turn, she pointed at my other colleague and she was shocked, so Lili took the bone and ran backwards. All of us were stunned. You mean like that also can?
And lastly, we had musical chair and we all know how it's played. Expect the unexpected, Lili, Amirah and I were the first three to not have a chair to sit.. :( After all the games ended, it was time to have log cake, which I didn't. I quickly went to shop&save and phoon huat to buy my chocolate block and dorcas' banana. By then I was back, gift exchange started and my name was being called before tt. So my turn again to receive my gift from Lili, it's all EEYORE ! :D she knows my fav. and my BM saw it and tooked it out, but this eeyore looks different, it had RED Undies on it and it was 2. Damn embarrassed yet funny.. Lili and I was running after BM when we saw the undies. Now I've RED undies for chinese new year to HUAT me. :DDDD Mahjong and blackjack must HUATTTT....
All ended well and I had to rush home for my 2nd party! Cab home, showered, cab to melo's.
And... I had to eat again because we organised potluck tt's why I contributed choco block for fondue, with our own stewing pot instead of tt fondue machine. I came in and everyone knew im the angel for melo because of the bulky bag with AUSSINO written. How to wrap this thing?? :|
"fondue" was fun but damn sweet.. we took photos but i've yet to see it myself also...
gift exchanging again~ i've got a facial scrub from thefaceshop and a necklace from Chomel which I thought it's identical to my anklet I gotten from Helen, shop name not a girl.. After everything at melo's place, we went to cityhall and then katong shopping centre for ktv. From 10pm to 2am, 6 of us and we spent $10 each! Definitely cheaper than KBOX or KSter or whatever K there is. We headed for supper and melo made us walked so muchhhhhhhhhh~ We arrived at this macau / hongkong cafe along upper east coast road, only 4 of us ate and it cost like almost $40 but the food not fantastic at all. I bought bak chor mee instead for my bagong, bet it taste better and cheaper!
24th, eve of xmas.
First time ever, branch closes at 3.30pm! So having all the holiday mood and stuffs, all getting ready to knock off and have fun with love ones. Went Dan Ryans with bagong, agesssss and my last visit was in 2002, but it's still the same! Had a great dinner of course! I got him a watch and he found out before xmas and already started wearing it, and at long last he bought something for us.
NYE, I did nothing............... I dozed off even before 12am. I countdown-ed in my dreams! Hurhur....

Didn't do anything the past few days but just rotting at home...
Caught 007 on friday, thought it's quite a short movie though.
Went to GP to check on my feet, and he saw me playing PSP and said i'm like a kid. Then met rachel for dinner in town and bought a dress from cotton on while waiting for her to arrive...
15 more days to go... Wondering what's in for me..
This is how long I've not pen anything, as always....
CPF didn't call me afterall, and I stayed on with my current job still. 2 of my colleagues were transferred to another branch because they're always in need of staffs and 1 will be transferring out to another department. At work, it's the same old thing, now with lesser target, but still the same 'stressful'. "Mardpig" will be back tomorrow and this will be our end of freeeeeeeeeeeeeedom.
Just last saturday, I cried over my chipped tooth! I was happily enjoying my dinner and biting, w/o realising I actually bite on the damn METAL FORK and I heard a SOUND. I know this is it! I spit out whatever I had in my mouth and looked into the mirror. ARGHHH. I now pronounced myself having a chipped tooth! In despair, no idea what to do, called HIM and literally teared!
So... Internet being so advanced now, I googled for 24 Hours Dental Clinic hoping to treat my tooth by that very night! Found Q & M and called Hougang but nobody's answering! Followed by Serangoon, appt available for Sunday only and last resort, Toa Payoh~ My only hope, but assistant claims dentist was going to leave in 30 minutes time which was 7pm and clock shows 6.15pm then! Apparently, Mr Dentist said he'll wait for me and ask me to make my way down, so I desperately asked my Mum to join me and took a cab down.
To cover up my chipped tooth, he did filling for me which costed almost $85. Still very not used to it at that moment and kept playing with the tooth as I could feel something there different! To mend my heart, I shopped and bought a dress. That night before I slept, I cried because of my tooth. Never had to do anything like filling, now I will always have to. Because of the tooth, I'm always very conscious whenever I eat now.
And..... I actually fell aslp while posting last wednesday..

Knowing nothing and then poofffff, end of it...

sadAgain, it's been ages since I last updated my blog. *guilt*
Hmm, I just submitted a resume recently to CPF hopefully they DO reply. As usual, sick and tired of my present job now. All is good except for the 'sales' KPI we've to meet and hearing the boss and boss' boss going on and on about KPIs. Currently reliefing Posb Tampines West for 1 week. 2 days have gone, 3 more days to go and I can step outta hell.
Been having sensitive skin around my upper lip area. Always having this red patch on both sides of it. Once a customer asked if I drank orange juice in the morning and forgotten to wipe off thus leaving a stain there. -.- Obviously not.
Last sat I also did went to Wing Tai's factory store and they were having a fox clearance. Bought like 4 tops and 1 coat totalling of $47. Actual price could have been $150 at least. *heee*
Anyway, I just rebonded my hair on last Sunday! Costed me $177 with shampoo & conditioner. Even more expensive than the Growth Dividends I've gotten. :( *SIGH*
It's the 4th day of CNY already and it's Monday tmr, work.... *eee* and I'm sick for 3 days already. Down with flu, cough and sorethroat. Gonna kill myself but eating more heaty food. Striving for 3 days mc! Haha.... Anyway it's abit stupid, sat I went to work, sun we're off, mon working again, tues I'm off again.. O_O
Doubt I'll be getting the chance to go NY as my sis isn't going in feb end, anyway no money so nvm. Might be going for a short trip in malacca instead.
Everyone is like so busy with CNY but not me. I went to my relatives place on the 1st day and went back home. Stayed at home all the way till saturday and left for work. :| Didn't go anywhere on the 2nd day. Ytd went bai nian at night and collected 2 angbaos :X
Sometimes I wonder if I really look different with specs and no make up compared to w/o specs and with make up. Especially when I'm working, I get funny comments from customer like.. "Oh u just joined not long? never seen u before.." I was like.. "eh I've been working here almost a year and I'd served u a couple of times.." and added.. "I wear specs and contact lenses at times, so maybe u cannot recognise.." And this, it happened again ytd to my friend's mum and she thought I'm another person. o.o
Not enough sleep again, prolly will doze off in a couple of hrs time.........
